Welcome!

At RPC we are on about following an amazing God who has done wonderful things through His son Jesus, and who continues to transform us by His Spirit and His love!

We don't want to keep it all to ourselves either - we hope that we can each play our part in encouraging all people, in love, to grow closer to Jesus; To know him and the hope and freedom he brings.

Anyone is welcome to come along - you certainly don't need to consider yourself a Christian. We're a group of people of different ages and cultural backgrounds, which I guess reflects the community we're in.

Feel free to have a look around the site, and please contact us if you have any questions.

The Gospel of Luke

In church at the moment we are looking at the Gospel according to Luke. The four Gospel accounts that we find in the New Testament (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) are accounts of Jesus' life. They focus on his ministry years when he taught the disciples and died on a cross.

We will work our way through Luke as we lead up to Easter. Last week we looked at the story of Jesus asking Simon (Peter) to follow him (Luke 5:1-11). It always amazes me. Jesus knows I am a sinful man, and yet, just like with Simon, he invites me to work with him. Very cool!

Church Lunch!!

This Sunday is our next church lunch. People are asked to bring some food to share. All welcome!

February Shed Night

Our next Shed Night is coming up. For more information you can visit the Shed site at www.ashedinryde.com. Everyone is welcome. Shed Nights are designed to help us blokes find some meaning and community in our lives.

Boundaries at RPC

RPC is a church that recognises and respects Boundaries. What does this mean? This Sunday we will be spending some time thinking about what Boundaries are and how they can work in our lives - not to keep people out, but so we can be better equipped to love others.

After our short excurion into Boundaries we will be back into the "Blood Thirsty Stories of the Old Testament!
